Mr Leigh is responsible for the overall strategic direction, leadership and day-to-day management of the school. He works closely with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure high standards of teaching and learning, strong pastoral care, and a positive, inclusive school culture. Mr Leigh oversees curriculum development, staff professional development, safeguarding, and stakeholder relationships, ensuring the school continues to provide a high-quality British education that supports both academic success and personal growth for every student.

After working as an examinations officer for over 5 years, Mr Parvaz is now completing his 10th year as Head of Centre for both CIE and Edexcel examination boards, ensuring academic rigour in the secondary section of the school. Continual professional development of staff is based on years of experience as a mathematics teacher, head of faculty, head teacher and trained school inspector. Support and opportunities for our staff and students is what makes CES-Hawally a great school!

Ms Kirsten leads Primary and Early Years with extensive knowledge of the EY and Primary curriculum, ensuring high-quality teaching, inclusion, and consistency across phases. As Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), she ensures a safe, nurturing environment where every child is supported to thrive academically and emotionally.

As Deputy Head of Secondary, Mr Taylor oversees all aspects of pupil wellbeing, behaviour, safeguarding and pastoral support. As the designated safeguarding lead, he works with a welfare team to support students, parents and staff to ensure all members of the school community feel safe and valued. He is committed to maintaining a positive, respectful and inclusive school culture.

As Deputy Head of EYFS and Primary, Mr Sotos oversees the curriculum, assessment, performance management and the wellbeing of both students and staff. He consistently provides guidance, support and leadership to uphold high standards across the school, while mentoring staff and driving continuous improvements in teaching and learning, with a clear focus on the school’s long-term development and success.

The Arabic Language Department at Cambridge School, led by Mr Ahmed Ibrahim, seeks to build a generation that is aware of its language, proud of its identity, and proficient in oral and written communication skills. The department also aspires to provide a comprehensive, high-quality education that combines the authenticity of the Arabic language with modern teaching methods, promotes moral and cultural values, and develops creative thinking among learners.

Mr Gamil Kadry leads the Islamic Studies department with passion and commitment, focusing on effectively delivering the educational message to all students. He is dedicated to fostering Islamic identity, instilling the principles of the Holy Quran developing cultural awareness, and strengthening students' moral framework in alignment with modern educational standards.

Ms Hala oversees the administrative team and the day-to-day operational management of the school. She ensures that school systems run efficiently, facilities are well maintained, and administrative processes effectively support staff, students and families. Working closely with the Principal and leadership team, Ms Hala plays a key role in maintaining a safe, organised and welcoming environment that enables the school to function smoothly and professionally.
