Safeguarding practice

Cambridge English School Mangaf’s safeguarding practice is founded on the principle that the welfare of the child is paramount in all decisions we make. We adhere to recognised international best practice, including Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) and British Schools Overseas (BSO) standards. In addition, we operate in accordance with the Kuwait National Child Protection Law (Law No. 21 of 2015) and related national frameworks that underpin the rights and protection of children in the State of Kuwait. These statutory obligations require that all individuals and institutions take necessary measures to protect children from harm, abuse, neglect and exploitation.

All staff undergo rigorous safer recruitment checks, regular safeguarding training, and are required to act in accordance with our robust child protection procedures. We maintain clear systems for identifying, reporting and responding to concerns and ensure appropriate support is provided for pupils who may be at risk.

Cambridge English School Mangaf works collaboratively with parents, carers and Kuwait Ministry of Education, to ensure pupils receive the support and protection they need. Our safeguarding policies are regularly reviewed to ensure they remain effective, compliant with legal requirements, and reflective of best practice.
